R ead, ‘rite, and repeat Scripture GOD, give me the wisdom to understand the simple thought that comes out of this verse, as I write it:
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need.

1. GOD, as I read YOUR WORD, either those around my verse for today or other scriptures about the same topic, help them do what they’re meant to do - feed YOUR HOLY SPIRIT WHO lives within me:
Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.
2. GOD, help me to react to Your Spirit’s prodding today. What are You wanting me to do with this teaching? Where are You leading me today?:
You came down to this earth and emptied Yourself out. You're asking me to do the same. You gave up heaven to come down and do this life. Now, You offer mediation, leading, forgiveness, grace, and mercy because You do understand. What a blessing that I can approach You with confidence---JUST AS I AM!!!
Attitude of CHRIST JESUS GOD, I see CHRIST-LIKE attitudes in these scriptures- please be molding them in me:
I see forgiveness, grace, and mercy; also, mediation and leading.
Pray to GOD THE FATHER GOD, please listen while I feebly pray about these thoughts: Father, I come to You again...JUST AS I AM...take all of me! I surrender all control. Lead me, guide me, live right inside me...fill me with the attitude of Christ that I see above...Thank You, Jesus!
