- We have just finished up a basic study, on this blog, about "What the Holy Spirit does..."
- Many of us have been focusing on New Year's resolutions... ways to become better and not bitter...
- As I age, my memory is not as good as it used to be, so I need help in memorizing and re-memorizing scripture... I love to learn/teach things in many different ways... I haven't been drawing my Mama Sikes "droodles" lately... I need to...
- I am acutely aware that many christians and non-christians are having big struggles with holiness, purity. and the light/darkness battle... Steve and I are preparing to go to a congregation in another state at the end of this month and lead a seminar on "Purity"...
- I am extremely intune with how many of us struggle with discouragement and take on substitute "comforters" in place of the Holy Spirit.
- My profession is centered around working with a lot of people who are challenged with focus issues... either too little or too much...
- Pain? We live with it in our home on a daily basis. There is something horrific about chronic pain. I cannot think about our Jessica's pain for too long or I take my eyes off of Jesus...
- Death has once again hit nearby and another sister has gone Home. Tanya was a follower of Jesus Christ, a reader of this blog, and a self proclaimed "transformed mom". Tanya is now a part of our great cloud of witnesses...
When you finish this post, I invite you to scroll down to last Friday and Saturday and read more about our friend, Tanya.

Okay! I'll stop there! So, I'm thankful to God for leading me to...
- this study of FIXING OUR EYES ON JESUS
- a monthly passage of scripture for us to memorize together
- a myriad of new inspirations to help us see Him more clearly
.
And, finally today, I'm thankful to Robbie Sikes, my mother-in-love, who taught me how to droodle my Bible. As I looked at the first part of our memory scripture for the month, I chose to droodle it...
This is the beginning of a much larger list of "living stones" who I am thankful for. They have touched my life, for the LORD, before leaving this earth. It is a great visual to encourage me, to remind me to be HOLY, and help me begin to memorize our passage for the month... I love my cloud of witnesses! They are overcomers! I've already written posts on some of them. Others I will write about this year. This week, be encouraged by what Steve and I have written about Tanya. Be blessed! Be transformed!
