From the time our children were in utero, we prayed for their lives, their futures, their future spouses. This past week, we once again witnessed answers to those prayers as we spent time in Chicago with family for Jordan's graduation from medical school. Jordan's wife, Jacqueline, has been such a blessed answer to our prayers for being just the spouse for Jordan! Icing on the cake has been Jacqueline's family! Jacqueline was raised in a small town in Kansas with her parents and two sisters. They lived in the same town with both sets of grandparents. All went to the same little church and loved and worshipped God together. As I think of this family, there is one word that repeatedly comes to mind: "GOOD!" The Keesee and Wood families are GOOD people through and through! I'm sure many would refer to them as "salt of the earth."

Today, I am grateful for Bob and Sharlene Keesee and the heritage in the LORD that they have passed down to Jacqueline who will now pass on God's love to our grandaughter, Chloe. Here is baby Chloe with her parents, Jordan and Jacqueline and her maternal grandparents, Pappy and Gram (Bob and Sharlene Keesee) after Jordan's graduation last Friday. Thank you, God, for such loving people!

Below, we're enjoying each other, counting our blessings, and celebrating Jordan at Su Casa Mexican Restaurant in downtown Chicago after graduation. Pappy takes the picture as the two grandmothers, Gram and Gigi, share the honors of Chloe in between. Pops is at the back right.

It was a special time of love and fellowship. Jacqueline's sister, Annie, and her fiancee at the front left will marry in July. Again, it was a time that confirmed for me that as I pray, nothing doubting, that my Father in heaven will take care of all of my needs and the needs of my husband, children and grandchildren. After all, Father knows best! I am so grateful that He does!
