GOD IS IN CONTROL: HE IS VERY INTENTIONAL

WOMEN IN THE WORD WEDNESDAY

Yesterday morning, my day started out experiencing our Beth Moore class and fellowship afterwards with my Pitman sisters. My day ended with a group of us surrounding Dwayne as he gave his life to Jesus and we watched him be baptized into Christ.

.

In our Beth Moore class we watched our PATRIARCHS Session 5 Video. There were not too many dry eyes before it was over. I couldn't write fast enough to get the notes from the video down or the comments of all my sisters. The lesson connected the Old Testament story of "Jacob's Ladder" to the "Cross of Christ"...another connection between the Old Testament and the New. Once again, I am reminded that God is in control. He is intentional in all that He does. The Bible alone shows that over and over again. I so want to "see" what He sees and understand what He understands.

I thought of the scripture from Ezra in Sunday's sermon and how it connected with a scripture at the end of Beth's video...another O.T. and N.T. connection. Those O.T. and N.T. connections help me to see more into the heart of God. As Beth said, "I want to have a SMART HEART!" One of the best ways to have a SMART HEART is to memorize His word.
