In the Bible story of Samson and Delilah, Delilah used pouting to get her way. She was a manipulator who did not give up until she got what she wanted.

Then Delilah pouted,

Mrs. Pegues says, "While manipulators are subtle and make every attempt to cloak their self-serving motives, they often forget that many people are very discerning and have a keen sensitivity to such insincerity." I'm sure Samson wished that he had been more discerning about her sincerity vs. her insincerity!

You know, we're only on the third day of 30 DAYS TO TAMING THE TONGUE. Yet, the word SINCERITY has already come up several times. It looks like there is a heart issue with the manipulator.

Here are some questions to ponder today:
- What's the difference between being persistent in a matter and manipulating?
- If I am persistent in prayer and then go out and manipulate things to get my answer, does that mean I trust God or not?
- BORN AGAIN? How about stopping the manipulation and LET GO AND LET GOD?!!?!?!?
