- all your heart and
- with all your soul
- and with all your strength.
.
These commandments that I give you today are to be
- upon your hearts.
- Impress them on your children.
- Talk about them when you sit at home and
- when you walk along the road,
- when you lie down and
- when you get up.
- Tie them as symbols on your hands and
- bind them on your foreheads.
- Write them on the doorframes of your houses and
- on your gates. "

JOSHUA:
.
Joshua 23:9-11
"The LORD has driven out before you great and powerful nations; to this day no one has been able to withstand you. One of you routs a thousand, because the LORD your God fights for you, just as He promised. So be very careful to love the LORD your God. "
.
DAVID
.
Psalm 31:23-24
.
"Love the LORD, all His saints! The LORD preserves the faithful, but the proud He pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD. "
.
Psalm 97:100 "Let those who love the LORD hate evil for He guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. "
.
Psalm 116:1-2 "I love the LORD, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live."
.
MATTHEW:
.
Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
.
MARK:
.
Mark 12:29-31
"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
.
LUKE:
.
Luke 10:25-28
.
"Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
"What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?"
He answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
"You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live."
.
JOHN:
.
1 John 4:16-21
.
"God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like Him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
.
We love because He first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And He has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother. "
