Today Chloe turns one year old! I looked back at my posts from a year ago and we were talking about new life in Christ then, too. She was born the day before Good Friday. As the months have passed Jacqueline has recorded Chloe's growth in several ways. One is by taking her picture with her giant bunny each month. Jacqueline has been consistent and thorough in her documenting Chloe's growth over a year. Here are a few of those shots.
It reminds me how quickly time flies! I think of the Old Testament scripture that our memory verses for the month are based on. God commands us to do something even more consistently than Jacqueline's photo documentation. How are you doing with talking about your love for God on a daily basis... all throughout everyday... with your children and your grandchildren? These verses emphasize goals that are observable and measurable (speaking in educational terms).

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 says,
"Hear, O Israel:
"Hear, O Israel:
The LORD our God,
the LORD is one.
Love the LORD your God with
all your heart and
with all your soul and
with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today
are to be upon your hearts.
Impress them on your children.
Talk about them when you sit at home
and when you walk along the road,
when you lie down and when you get up.
Tie them as symbols on your hands
and bind them on your foreheads.
Write them on the door frames of your houses
and on your gates. "

Be sure you are passing His love on in observable and measurable ways to your children... to your grandchildren. Tomorrow I will share with you one way I have begun to do that with Chloe!
