"The splendor of a King, clothed in majestyLet all the earth rejoice. All the earth rejoiceHe wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hideAnd trembles at His voice
Romans 1:20 says,
"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."
.
GOD'S GREAT CREATION (as spoken of here and seen in these pictures) draws us to know that there is a GOD and it draws us to...
.
GOD'S GREAT COMMANDMENT: Matthew 22:36-40 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And He said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' "This is the great and foremost commandment. "The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."
.
And, for those of us who've been drawn to GOD'S GREAT COMMANDMENT, we are then drawn to....GOD'S GREAT COMMISSION: Matthew 28:18-20 "And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. ".
- Love God
- Love Others
- Make Disciples
- Baptize Believers
- Teach Obedience (and Relationship)
.
How can we not believe and live those ten words when we see His creation and know HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!

Okay, okay...so, I woke before my alarm...okay, okay, God woke me up before my alarm. I stumbled to my computer just a few minutes ago to finish up the two classes that I am teaching today and find this post garbled. It should have posted while I was sleeping but it did not post correctly. Hmmmmm....So, while I am fixing it, my little email bell tells me that I just got an email. It's 5:01 A.M. and I get an email from our sister Linda (who it seems GOD also woke up). GOD, I believe, has more for me to tell on this post...Linda is sending me more pictures!!! Amazing!!!
.
So, continue reading here and after the next picture check out the rest of today's story.... Thank you, Greg and Linda for sharing the first set of pictures from your trip of such an amazing part of God's creation...and now a new set of pics. He blesses and blesses. Today, He's blessed our Meditation Monday through you!
.
(NOTE: the very best part of GOD'S creation is pictured here...people willing to let the HOLY SPIRIT of our GREAT LIVING GOD live and work through them. )

HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!
LET ALL THE UNIVERSE REJOICE!

Astronomers have selected the top ten most amazing pictures taken by the Hubble Space Telescope in the last 16 years.
"... they illustrate that our universe is not only deeply strange,
but also almost impossibly beautiful." -- Michael Hanlon, Daily Mail
After correcting an initial problem with the lens, when the Hubble Space Telescope was first launched in 1990, the floating astro-observatory began to relay back to Earth, incredible snapshots of the "final frontier" it was perusing.
..

.
The Sombrero Galaxy (28 million light years from Earth) was
voted best picture taken by the Hubble telescope. The
dimensions of the galaxy, officially called M104, are as
spectacular as its appearance It has 800 billion suns
and is 50,000 light years across..
.
.
2.
The Ant Nebula, a cloud of dust and gas whose name is Mz3, resembles an ant when observed using ground- based telescopes. The nebula lies within our galaxy between 3,000 and 6,000 light years from Earth.
.
.3.
.
In third place is Nebula NGC 2392, called "Eskimo"
because it looks like a face surrounded by a furry hood.
The hood is, in fact, a ring of comet-shaped objects
flying away from a dying star. Eskimo is 5,000 light
years from Earth.
.
.4.
At four is the Cat's Eye Nebula.
.
.
5.
The Hourglass Nebula, 8,000 light years away, has a
pinched-in-the-middle look because the winds that
shape it are weaker at the centre.
.
.
6.
In sixth place is the Cone Nebula. The part pictured
here is 2.5 light years in length (the equivalent of 23
million return trips to the Moon).
.
.
7.
The Perfect Storm, a small region in the Swan Nebula,
5,500 light years away, described as "a bubbly ocean
of hydrogen and small amounts of oxygen, sulphur
and other elements."
.
.
8.
Starry Night, so named because it reminded astronomers
of the Van Gogh painting. It is a halo of light around a
star in the Milky Way.
.
.
9.
The glowering eyes from 114 million light years away
are the swirling cores of two merging galaxies called
NGC 2207 and IC 2163 in the distant Canis Major
constellation.
.
.
10.
The Trifid Nebula. A 'stellar nursery', 9,000 light years
from here, where new stars are being born.

If you are convicted by the pictures of creation that you have seen here OR maybe you are new to this concept of believing that a loving, living CREATOR exists as your HEAVENLY FATHER please access the website DOES GOD EXIST? that is authored by a friend of ours who is a former atheist. John Clayton became a christian years ago at the church in Bloomington, IN where Steve used to preach. John has spent his christian life as a scientist showing how GOD is the scientist, the CREATOR of the universe, and how the BIBLE told many things about science years before science ever figured them out. Please check it out here at:

If you are convicted by the words to the song HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD, I just want you to know that it is sung by a group called the Zoe Group out of Nashville, Tennessee in which Greg and Linda's oldest son, Jeff, sings. You can hear more of their amazing songs about our HEAVENLY FATHER by accessing them at: http://www.zoegroup.org/

Thank You, GOD!

Great blog this morning, Patti! God is using you in amazing ways! Thanks for linking your readers to John Clayton. His life, his work, his ministry are Spirit-led and God inspiring! I love you.
(Your hubby-telescope-hubby)
I took a class this summer "Atom, Man and Universe." The pictures you posted reminded me of that course. Amazing what God has created. Even more amazing to me, is that man doesn't accept Him as the creator of something so awesome. Transform for sure if you allow it.
Excuse my typo above. The last sentence should read "Transforming for sure if we allow it."
thank you. thank you. I am so thankful for this post. Most of all I am thankful for our God.
