1. THE MISSION OF WOMEN OF PURPOSE - TO GLORIFY GOD IN WORD, DEED, AND SONG: There is a song that I would love to have as a theme song on this blog, but have not been able to get it on the playlist. The next best thing was to find it someplace on the internet and share the lyrics and a video with you. Although, the video is not the best quality, I still believe it will inspire you. The songs of Steve Green are rich with meaning. He has spanned several decades of recording songs of GOOD NEWS. Mandy brought one of his CD's to our Bible class on Tuesday for us to listen to. It connects so well to what we've been studying.

The offer of salvation to a dying race of man

2. THE MISSION OF WOMEN OF PURPOSE - TO GLORIFY GOD WHILE WAITING IN DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES: I saw Lauren last night! I picked up some Olive Garden for Cristi's supper and headed out of South Jersey across the Walt Whitman bridge.
As I entered Pennsylvania. Downtown Philadelphia was off to my right. The Phillies were playing in Citizen's Bank Park on my left.
A few minutes later, I arrived at CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) only to drive around in the parking garage for almost 30 minutes to find a parking place. Then, I made the long trek from there to security...to the third floor bridge... to the first floor... and then up to the sixth floor. What a beautiful and busy children's hospital!
I found Lauren asleep! Best to take the picture in the dark and not wake her up!
She got to go outside with her mom earlier in the day and was worn out! Lauren had a heart catheritazation on Wednesday to see how her heart was doing a week after the transplant. Her doctor said that her heart did not look like a transplanted heart. In fact, he said her heart looked remarkably at home in her body. Join me in PRAISING GOD! The Lord willing, she will be discharged this coming Wednesday!

3. THE MISSION OF WOMEN OF PURPOSE - TO RAISE CHILDREN FOR THE LORD: I am so thankful to have children who remain on a faith journey with their LORD. Jordan and Jacqueline took our grandaughter Chloe to her first rodeo. What do you think? COWGIRL CHLOE makes both her grandpops proud at this Kansas rodeo! 4. THE MISSION OF WOMEN OF PURPOSE - TO GLORIFY GOD WITH OUR HEARTS, SOULS, MINDS, AND STRENGTH: It's such a battle for so many of us!

I have a friend named Sean who will become your fast friend, too. I wish you could see the inspiration that he is to his friends on FB. Sean is a minister of the gospel of Christ. He has put his struggle public for others to help him through prayer and encouragement.
.I've known Sean for quite a few years! Sean was a student at York College when I taught there. He is a friend of our 4 children. Sean has sung with Acappella ministries and other contemporary christian groups. He has tour managed and road managed some of the vocal artist's who we listen to on this playlist: Nicole C Mullen, Matthew West, Sanctus Real, as well as many others.

I've been with Sean in multiple settings. He is a bright light! I've been praying for him and cheering him on recently.
