MEDITATION

MONDAY
.
A virtuous woman must be a woman of purpose. 1 Corinthians 13 ends it's description of love by saying, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
.
In other words, gals, the above verse answers these questions:
.
- Do you want purpose in your life? Try faith, hope, and love!
- Do you want to know how to get practical and know where the rubber meets the road? Try faith, hope, and love!
- Do you want to quit going through the motions and get real? Try faith, hope, and love.
- Do you want to know the bottom line? Try faith, hope, and love.
.
FAITH is foundational! Join me in focusing on faith today.
.
Matthew 7:25 "The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on THE ROCK."
.
1 Corinthians 3:11 "For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ."
.
Hebrews 11:1-2 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."
.
Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."
.
Our theme song this week is one brought up out of the archives of my "christian oldies but goodies": HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH. Be encouraged by the words and the 80's video of one of my favorite christian singers. Steve Green often preaches in song about faith, hope, and love! When you've finished, I hope you have time to read yesterday's post, if you haven't already!

HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH
Steve Green
.
Here we are at the start committing to each other
By His word and from our hearts
We will be a family in a house that will be a home
And with faith we'll build it strong
.
Chorus:
We'll build a household of faith
That together we can make
And when the strong winds blow it won't fall down
As one in Him we'll grow
and the whole world will know
We are a household of faith
.
Now to be a family
we've got to love each other
At any cost unselfishly
And our home must be a place
that fully abounds with grace
A reflection of His face
.
Repeat Chorus
.
