- "Honor the DIFFERENCES!"
- "Not right! Not wrong! Just DIFFERENT!"
.
So, why do we judge? Maybe, just maybe, because that's easier than becoming someone who loves enough to be a SUFFERING SERVANT SLAVE!!! That's what we talked about on Monday.
.
LORD, your word says that LOVE NEVER FAILS! How do we love those who are so DIFFERENT from us? Is it really by taking the form of a servant? Is it really being patient and kind to even our enemies? Oh, my! This is hard! We'll read Your word today LORD, on Women in the Word Wednesday...we'll learn from You:
Ephesians 3:14-19 "For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which

.
- encourage one another
- build up one another, just as you also are doing.
- appreciate those who diligently labor among you...esteem them very highly in love because of their work
- live in peace with one another
- admonish the unruly
- encourage the fainthearted
- help the weak
- be patient with all men
- see that no one repays another with evil for evil
- always seek after that which is good for one another and for all men.
- rejoice always
- pray without ceasing
- in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
- do not quench the Spirit
- do not despise prophetic utterances
- examine everything carefully
- hold fast to that which is good
- abstain from every form of evil
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass."

I love this post! I remember uncle Steve saying "opposite attract then they attack" in reference to a marriage. Brad and I are opposites in a lot of ways and I'm trying to honor the differnce. Thanks for the reminder and the scripture.
