Thankful! So thankful! I shared on Sunday that Steve's favorite song is Softly and Tenderly! I am married to a gentle and humble man who never stops learning of new ways to please and serve His heavenly Father. His office holds a ton of books that have been moved to a new place in the last week. During the move, someone commented that "next time maybe we should hire an illiterate preacher!"

.Crystal loves her daddy dearly! She came home from college for the weekend. She sat on her daddy's lap, asked for wise counsel, bantered with him, and they went on a date together. Happy Father's Day! And, she did what she does every year on Father's day... she had a picture taken of herself to show her daddy how much she loves him! I am so thankful for Crystal and the relationship she has with her daddy!

I'm so thankful for our other daughter, Jess, who lives with us and gets to hang out with her daddy when she's not in pain. Although Jess was having a full blown migraine on Sunday, last night she and her daddy got to hang out and watch a movie together.
.
Although our two sons did not get to be with us for Father's Day, they got to spend the weekend together with their wives, Krista and Jacqueline, and little ones. What a precious thought for us to know that they were "hanging out together" with my sister Pam and her husband, Dalen.

Here is new daddy Caleb holding Perry just a little while after Perry was born on 6-3-10.

.
Here is Chloe with daddy Jordan, checking out the animals at the zoo. She got to hang out with her new cousin, Perry and called both Uncle Caleb and Uncle Dalen, "Bubba".

I'm praying that God blesses my plans to see both grandbabies and their parents in about a week! GIGATTAATTGIG...

Children's children are a crown to the aged,
and parents are the pride of their children.
