If you know both my husband and me and someone asked you which one of us was the most "soft and tender", I can guarantee you that 100% would say "Steve". Over the years, the Spirit of God has tempered me and made me a much gentler "lion". I married a "lamb" and I must confess that there are times that this "lion" has almost eaten her "lamb". God's tempering has made a difference. Yet, I still have my moments! Those moments come more readily when I am under great stress. Lately, that has been the case. Yet, through much prayer and focus on "love never fails" this lioness has not driven her den totally batty. :0) .
Things have been really busy here on the homefront. School, more school, moving an entire church building of contents, planning for Bible school curriculum, and.... Well, anyway, I'm scurrying to head out of state, as planned. The plan is for me to leave on Monday to be with family, including the two grandbabies for two weeks. I will drive from NJ to Springfield, MO and then to KC, MO and then to Nebraska. Steve will remain here with Jessica. Over the next few weeks, I will post - but not everyday. Did I say that I was so excited to see the grandbabies?

I love my physical family! I especially love them because they are followers of God... and, God is love! They are part of my big extended christian family... and I love the way they serve in love.

Today, Brenda and her two children helped me all day, sort, pack, and move Bible school supplies from the church building to my house to the church offices. They knew how much I had to do before leaving town. Little "B" said, "I just love summer vacation because it gives me more opportunities to serve!" What a statement for a little girl going into the 4th grade! Thank you guys!

Thank you, Jesus for faithful love! Thank you, Jesus for my family!
