This is a blog for women (not just moms) who:

(1) Desire to be transformed by JESUS' LOVE, HOLINESS, AND GRACE;

(2) Believe that GOD'S WORD is the true Spirit food for HIS HOLY SPIRIT who lives within us;

(3) Submit to GOD and walk this journey of life with HIM transforming us more and more into HIS likeness.

It's a blog about the POWER OF TRANSFORMED LIVES. Let's begin with yours and mine and pass it on... 1 + 1 + 1...

Since GOD's HOLY SPIRIT lives inside a christian, let's choose to be nurtured and transformed by feasting daily on HOLY SPIRIT food - GOD's WORD - The Holy Bible..

My regular posts stopped in 2013, with a major move and the chronic illness and eventual death of our oldest daughter. Yes, we grieve daily, but I plan to begin posting once or more a week beginning the end of 2017. December 2017 to June 2018 will focus on JESUS' "Sermon on the Mount".

Earlier posts follow daily formats, as follows:

...Sunday in the SON

......Meditation Monday

............Women in the WORD Wednesday

...............Transforming Thursday

..................Family Fellowship Friday

.....................Ketchup and Mustard Saturday.

There's a whole lot here! Take your time to browse.

Please come back and visit often. Welcome!

Because of JESUS, we can be family,

Romans 12:1-2 "Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."

Jesus is our HOPE! A Ketchup and Mustard Saturday!

It's a really needed Ketchup (catch-up) and Mustard (Must Do) Saturday!  What a long time it has been since I've written on this blog.  My last words here were to remind us of how great God's faithfulness is to us.  I believe that more than ever today.  According to the sidebar, there was a Plan for the year on this blog, but life had a way of taking over some of my plans the last few months!  So thankful for God's grace, patience, and hope!

I grew up as an "army brat", but my dad returned to Fort Carson, Colorado twice.  I attended school in the Colorado Springs area in 4th, 5th, 8th, 11th, and 12th grades.  That is where my parents chose to stay after my dad's retirement.  The fires and violence in Colorado this past month have brought my heart "homeward":  1. For my Colorado home! 2. For my eternal HOME!

Two of my favorite scriptures address what has happened this week in Aurora, Colorado:

2 Corinthians 4:6-16

"For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”  made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
7 But we have this Treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.

13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”  Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to Himself. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Therefore, we do not lose heart..."

Colossians 1:27-28

"...Christ in you, the hope of glory He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ."

One of the survivors of the Aurora shooting has posted a blog that is a must read as she gets us to think more on the topic of:  "this treasure in jars of clay" and  "Christ in you, the HOPE of glory..."
 Therefore we do not lose heart.

Oh, the JOY!  Be Blessed!  Be Transformed!
