It is GOD who BLESSES and TRANSFORMS...

This is a blog for women (not just moms) who:

(1) Desire to be transformed by JESUS' LOVE, HOLINESS, AND GRACE;

(2) Believe that GOD'S WORD is the true Spirit food for HIS HOLY SPIRIT who lives within us;

(3) Submit to GOD and walk this journey of life with HIM transforming us more and more into HIS likeness.

It's a blog about the POWER OF TRANSFORMED LIVES. Let's begin with yours and mine and pass it on... 1 + 1 + 1...

Since GOD's HOLY SPIRIT lives inside a christian, let's choose to be nurtured and transformed by feasting daily on HOLY SPIRIT food - GOD's WORD - The Holy Bible..

My regular posts stopped in 2013, with a major move and the chronic illness and eventual death of our oldest daughter. Yes, we grieve daily, yet I am determined to continue to let the LIGHT of my LORD and SAVIOR shine through me. I have tried to start posting again, over the last few years, but have not been consistent. So, I think the biggest blessing for you and me both will be to intersperse some new posts while revisiting some of the former posts. Let's begin with "Oh, the JOY!" as we head into living through Fall 2019; meeting back here 1-2 days a week.

If you need daily encouragement, you will find plenty by clicky on past posts. When reading earlier posts, you will see that I often posted daily, following this format: ...Sunday in the SON, Meditation Monday, GratiTuesday, Women in the WORD Wednesday, Transforming Thursday, Family Fellowship Friday, Ketchup & Mustard Saturday.

There's a whole lot here! Take your time to browse.

Please come back and visit each week. Welcome!

Because of JESUS, we can be family,

Patti

TRANSFORMED MOMS:MOMS TRANSFORMED

Romans 12:1-2 "Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."

JUST AS I AM

SUNDAY IN THE SON
.

I am so excited that God is providing a way for me to continue this blog in 2009. We started in June with the same message that we will start 2009 with:
.

POUR IT OUT!
.
Let's pour ourselves out at the feet of Jesus!
.
Blessed are the POOR IN SPIRIT!
.

1.
Dear Lord,
I’m on my knees again
I come to You because You understand
I’ve tried so hard,
but I just can’t change myself
That’s why I know I need Your help
Chorus:
So here I am
This in my plea
My only hope is Your love for me
I’m reaching out
So desperately
Come take my hand;
take all of me
Just as I am!
2.
Oh Lord,
You make what’s broken new
Why can’t I just learn to follow You
I want to know You and feel You in my soul
I surrender all control
(Chorus again)
I am not afraid to follow You where You lead me
I can leave the past behind me
I’m forgiven and I’m free!

It's my favorite David Phelps song! I haven't heard it in a long time. Thank you for bringing it back to the front of my mind. It brings back memories of our Masterful Moms class last summer. I have missed everyone over the holidays. Can't wait for Tuesday morning when our ladies'class resumes. It also makes me mindful of those of our number going through storms of life. This is kind-of a "where the rubber meets the road" song. Those inspire me. The nitty gritty, no frills. Just pure humanity clinging to pure love and salvation in Christ's death. It reminds me we can hide things from other humans, but God knows every hair, every wart, every tear, every fear, every thought. To go to Him in utter surrender....what release. And He loves us, there is no threat of losing His love. May we then extend this brand of love to others.
I am mindful of you with your busy schedule and deadlines. Thank you for taking time to blog today.
Love to you my sister-friend,
Mandy

PS, God Loves You said...

Mandy,

What a present your words are to me! It's after midnight. I was tired and took a break from grading portfolios. Reading this has given me new energy. Thank you, sister!

What's on my mind is the amazing ways I have seen you grow IN HIM since our summer class. You inspire me!

I'm praying for you, your family, and your new full time job. Just keep pouring it out...clinging to Him...warts and all...every tear, every fear, every thought...

I love you, dear sister,
Patti
