It's wonderful to be a mother! It's overwhelming to be a mother! I often ponder how Mary felt raising a large family. I've studied that the first "prayer" Hebrew women taught their children was, "Father, into Thy hands I commit my spirit." Mary had quite an influence on her son! His last words in Luke 23:46:

Last night I was texting back and forth with 3 of our 4 young adult children. At the same time, the fourth one walked into the room. Blessing on top of blessing!

When the kids were growing up we prayed with them often and memorized scripture. We had a contract that was on a big poster that hung in a hallway off the kitchen. The kids signed it. The top of the contract had these ancient words of scripture:
Colossians 3:17
- "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
As smaller version of the contract also had this one added:
Colossians 3:23-24
- "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
In other words,
