And who may stand in His holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood
And has not sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive a blessing from the Lord
And righteousness from the God of his salvation."
I find it thought provoking that these words are found in Psalms 24, right after the 23rd Psalm. First the journey following the Shepherd and then the ascent up "the hill of the LORD."
This week, as we focus on "a pure heart", let's learn this song and sing it together. The lyrics are:
Chorus Turn my heart, O Lord, like rivers of water,
Turn my heart, O Lord, by Your hand;
Till my whole life flows in the river of Your Spirit,
And my name brings honor to the Lamb. (Repeat)
Verse
Lord, I surrender to Your work in me;
I rest my life within Your loving hands.
BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART!
